The service
Prism is self-hosted personal streaming software: apps that connect to a Prism server operated by you or by someone who has invited you. The Prism software and the account/connection services at prismstreaming.com are provided by PRETE9 LLC, an Ohio limited liability company (“we,” “us”); we do not provide, host, or license any media content.
Your content and conduct
Media libraries reside on the Prism server they are played from. The owner of each server is solely responsible for the content on it and for having the rights to store and stream that content to the people they invite. Use Prism only with content you or your server's owner are legally entitled to use, and only for personal, non-commercial viewing.
Accounts and access
Keep your credentials to yourself. Access to any server is granted by that server's owner and may be limited, suspended, or revoked by them at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the services or attempt to circumvent access controls.
Beta software
Prism is provided in beta, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed; data handled during beta may be reset. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the software or services.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes appear on this page with an updated effective date. Continuing to use Prism after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
